I am not getting any appointment in June with any doctor within 60 miles from my place. So I took an appointment with a doc 70+ miles away for end of june. The only problem is I need to go twice 70 miles one way. The clinic suggested I do the blood work in nearby county clinic, but the county clinic wants 7-10 days to get results of blood work. I asked them for HIV and Sephallius test to be done. I already got TB Skin test(tested negative) done at county clinic.
Can someone please tell what all blood tests need to be done, so I can check if any other doctor can do the blood work and I can save one 70 mile trip . Thanks.

If you belong to India then it depends on the state of residense. You can go to other consulates if you are a returning H1B, meaning this is not your first H1 stamping. For first time stamps they require one to go the consulate of the region they belong to.

My attorney didn't pay attention to my birth certificate. My birth was registered couple of days after later but the certificate was issued 4 years later in 1979. And my fathers, mothers and my names were not full name. My fathers name was spelt wrong. Anyways nothing can be done now my application went in on July 2nd. I am hoping it will be an RFE. My case is another classic case of Attorney negligence.

I hate to break this to you, but your sense of optimism needs a reality check.

If under the bullet point (b) you have an option to choose "other" then choose that.
EAD is not a status; pending I-485 allows you to be "legally present" in the country without having a "legal status". Similarly, AP allows you to travel out of the country and reutrn without abandoning your pending I-485 application. (At least that's what my understanding is .....)

Am in the same situation with my employer
He is doing a direct deposit on to my account and not sharing the paystubs and everytime when i follow up him with paystubs he is saying all cock&bull stories saying that HR is busy with other stuff and cannot do it at this point.
Its been 3 months he is delaying this.
Previoulsy I was receiving my paystbs regularly and all it started is after my H1 renewal and am need to change my employer now and other company is asking for the latest 3 months paystubs for the H1 transfer.
and my employr is thretening for the original H1 B doc and he says that he needs it for companys reference.
Please let me know whome to contact and how to contact and how to get this things done in gettign my paystubs.

Can someone please confirm if "Card Production Ordered" email from USCIS mean my 485 is approved and I have gotten GC ?
I have only got this "Card Production Ordered" email and not an email specifically saying "485 approved". How long does it take after "Card Production Ordered" email to get actual card.
Also if May bulletin is Unavailable it still means that GC;s issued if your date is current in April are valid ? My email came yesterday same day as the new May bulletin ?

I know this is a little late, but based on the ridiculous snail speed of the VB, this is the first time I scrutinized my I-485 receipt and the USCIS online case check.
I, like a lot of others, got my I-140 approved, and then slipped in my I-485 application during the July VB fiasco of 2007.
I have a PDF of the FedEx delivery receipt/signature that it was delivered to the USCIS on July 28th, 2007, a Saturday
On my Receipt, it says the "Received Date" is July 30th, the Monday. I am not going to dispute that 2 days, especially since it was a Saturday.
BUT when I go online to check my case status through the USCIS website, it says
On September 5, 2007, we received this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done. This case is at our NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

I maybe being silly here, but I'd appreciate anyone that can answer my question. I mean, their computer is saying they got my package on September 5th! This doesn't even make sense, cos the July VB fiasco window was over by Aug 15th back in 2007!
Also, just so I know, anyone got their July VB packaged delivered on a Saturday but got a receipt date for the Monday after? (I'll feel a little better if I know I am not cheated here)
Now, i can get back to being grumpy about the VB retrogression/non-movement saga of 2009.

Sounds like another case of Consultancy Exploitation of Skiller Worker (CESW).
If they are not showing the intent to deny letter, they may be want to prevent you from quitting the company and going elsewhere now that u have ur 3 yr H1B with you.....be mindful of that.

Your concern seems valid.
gnrajagopal, i would call USCIS customer service and talk to them about this.. better to get it confirmed.
I am inclined to believe that you are approved.. they just haven't updated their system yet or mabybe the system didn't get updated somehow.
Spoke to a friend of mine. He said he recieved his 140 approval but till this date the system shows that the case is pending. I will probably call uscis tomorrow.
Does anybody know the easiest way to reach a customer service rep at NSC?
